I precisely wanted to thank you so much all over again. I am not sure what I would have gone through in the absence of these tips provided by you directly on my topic. It was actually the frightful setting for me personally, however , discovering the very specialized form you managed that took me to leap for delight. Seven Hills NSW

My family and I decided to rent from Judi from all the positive reviews and acclaims we heard. We also felt we would be taken care of, since she is Canadian like us.
Unfortunately we were pressed for time and had to find a place quickly before my arrival, otherwise we would have spent our time researching and asking our partners here in Playa about her and her company.

My experience with her falls nothing short of disappointing. She has tried to scam us for money from the beginning, from adding different fees and services to our contract that we didn't require.
She also wanted to charge us double for a cleaning lady, eventhough we specifically mentioned to her we KNOW the prices in Playa.

Upon ariving, the place was dirty, with filthy floors and disgusting kitchen sink.
TV/internet was not working and hot water tank was not turned on. It took more than 4 days to get these taken care of. It turns out the TV bill was unpaid and Cablemás turned off their service. All they had to do is pay the outstanding money and they would enable it right away.

I noticed the place is run-down and I began to take pictures of couch, fridge, etc. Unfortuntaly, I didn't think she is going to actually find the littlest damage to scam me for money, otherwise I would have taken pictures of everything.

The TV went off during our stay again and it took over 5 days to get it back on. I requested to add an HD package to the TV cable and she quoted me over 2500 pesos (where the package is only 119 pesos and I explained to her I have lived in Playa before and I know the rates.

At the end of the stay, she decided to give me a false reading of electricity and asked me to pay over 2000 pesos for a month. I requested meter reading and she told me she doesn't have it and many other excuses. I received their previous CFE bill and I saw there was an outstanding balance that was not paid. She scammed me into paying 2000 pesos, and typically this type of charge happens every two months, if you run the AC constantly. I barely ran the AC.

She also charged me for stained sheets. I remember upon my arrival that I noticed the stain myself, however I didn't take any pictures and didn't think anything of it.
She also charged me for missing remote control from the AC. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and I only used one with my son and when I first arrived, there were only 2 AC remotes. Of course, stupid me, didn't think she would be this caniving and charge me for it.

I asked her where the 4 remotes come from, she stated that the checklist that was done before I arrived, I asked for the checklist and she mentioned she doesn't have it anymore and she fired the person that was handling my rental.

Playa is a small town and I am unsure how she built her reputation here. If this is the way she conducts her business, I wish her all the best, but I can assure you she is not here to help you. The prices she will provide to you are untrue and she does everything she can to make money off you. I encourage you to do your research on who you decide to rent or buy properties from.

Hello! that's a great place! Surely there are a lot of good reasons why vacation rentals are way better than hotels!
    Happy travels!
